SO, I don't know what I am going to do with myself come July 20-30.  Selene is going to be out of the country visiting family and to see if she can still swim across the river to get back to the States.  I haven't had to stay this long by myself in FOREVER!  I've decided I may have to have the occasional slumber party.  lol. 

This guy that I hadn't talked to in about a month started talking to me again Friday.  Wtf?  I saw him at the bar and we hung out afterwards.  The next day after I got off work, he text me and asked what I was doing that night like he used to.  Boys simply confuse me.  I can read any girl, but this blows my mind on this type of stuff.

Last day July 3, 2007

1 year, 3 months and 3 days later,

 my "temp" job is finally over.

I've decided tonight, after my conversation with Selene, that I still don't know exactly I want to do with my life after graduation from college.  I've got a "round-about" idea, you know, get some job that I get to do a lot of traveling.  As of right now, I'd like for the job to be based out of OKC just for convenience purposes. 

I have decided tonight though, that the day after graduation, I'd really like to go out on a cruise.  Maybe I can talk a few of my fellow graduating classmates into going with me.  I think that would be an absolute blast!!  You know, finals and college will be completed and I'll be moving into another stage of my life.  I think that will be a great way of closing one door and opening the next--a good celebration. 

Speaking of vacations, my St. Louis trip was officially cancelled until further notice last week.  My friend that I was going to go see can't get off work b/c the two people above him have meetings they have to attend that weekend.  I don't know whether to call BS or not.  We have had these plans since stinking JANUARY!!! I was SUPER pissed off about it.  But now, that means that I'm going to have this money saved up.  I was really wanting to go see Sheena for her big wedding thing, then I got to looking at plane tickets, and holy shit, the ticket was going to cost about what i had in savings....  Sorry Sheena.  I think i am going to Dallas for KTK's birthday.  I think we're going to Six Flags.  Which, while I'm down there, I could kill two birds with one stone, that night that I'm down there, I could go out with Brittney so I can get her off my back about me coming down there and hanging out with all of these 'great' friends she has acquired.  I dont' know what that night might hold. 

VERY exciting news!!  I found my remote control today for my bedroom tv.  That SOB has been missing for about a month and a half.  It was under the foot of the bed.  Mind you, there is absolutely nothing under my bed, I don't know why I just now found it, it's not like I had to rumage through a lot of stuff or anything.  And then, I completed an exercise in accounting by MYSELF today, absolutely NO help from anyone!!  I got all of it right too!  I was SO happy with myself. 

Time for bed, I think I going to get up in the morning and cook me some bacon and eggs.  I've got a taste for them right now.  We'll see if that actually happens or not.

!!!

I am SO ready for finals to be over with it's not even funny!  Right now, of my 6 classes, I have 3 B's and 1 A.  I have absolutely NO idea how I did on my final today for Auditing, and I have NO clue as to where I'm standing currently in Not-for-Profit before I go take the exam.  However, I did hear that the final is SUPER easy.  Good for me.

I had one of the best days yesterday.  I turned the radio on and the song that was just starting is one of my two favorite songs of all times.  (One of those songs you just love, but for some reason always get in on the last half of it when playing on the radio.)  "Friends in Low Places."  Then, I got called from my employer to come in early.  3 hours early.  My immediate thought was, "That means I can get off work early and study!  Hooray!"  Therefore, I told them I would be there as soon as I got out of my final for the day.  I did way good on my final for Financial Institutions and Markets.  When I got there at 11am, they told me I may stay until 7pm.  I told them I'd rather not since I did come in 3 hours early, I was originally only supposed to work a 6 hour shift, why would I stay an extra 2 hours when I'm already doing them a favor?  So that question was left in limbo for a long time.  While at work, my assisstant manager informed me that I finally got my raise that I should've received back in March for my 1 year anniversary.  I ended up getting like 4x the amount of what I originally thought I was going to receive!  (Which, was a good thing, because I was seriously about to walk out of that establishment the night before.  They convinced me to stay a bit longer.  That has been the only reason I have stayed there for as long as I have.  Everytime I "this" close to quitting, they give me a raise.)  Hell yes!  I got home, did some studying.  And even had time to drink a few beers before the night came to an end.  It was like 1am and I layed down to call it a day, and I could NOT go to sleep.  Ridiculous! 

I am currently in the process of getting ready for work.  I am scheduled to work 11-6.  We'll see if I actually get out of there at 6.  Then, a few of us are planning on making the trip to Hinton for the Kiwanis Rodeo.  HOPEFULLY, my bubba will be roping tonight in the actual rodeo as opposed to being put in the "slack".  I'm way pumped!
